The Linganore Residence reimagines a 1989 contemporary home set on more than nine acres, transforming an inefficient layout into a calm, functional space tailored to everyday family life. We focused on improving flow, storage, and usability, completely reworking the first floor to better support how the home is lived in today.
The kitchen was redesigned as the heart of the home, supported by a new mudroom, first-floor laundry, and dog wash spaces that manage daily activity while maintaining a refined, cohesive aesthetic. Clean-lined cabinetry, warm wood tones, and thoughtful contrasts bring clarity and warmth, creating interiors that feel both modern and welcoming.
A hand-painted mural adds a moment of artistry and narrative, connecting the home to its surrounding landscape. The result is a renewed residence that balances beauty and function, elevating daily living through intentional design and craftsmanship.

Hill House was reimagined to reflect the lifestyle of a family deeply connected to their natural surroundings. The renovation blends rustic warmth with modern sophistication, using vertical cedar siding and stone to ground the exterior in its hillside setting, while sleek board-and-batten cladding adds a contemporary edge. Inside, the design continues this balance of natural textures and modern lines. Expansive windows flood the interiors with light, creating open, inviting spaces where the family can gather while remaining visually connected to the outdoors. From the exterior architecture to the interior finishes, Hill House is a retreat that honors its setting and enhances the way this family lives every day.
